Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how, we, Company for construction, trade and services LIMAK DOO Skopje, having registered office at street Zeleznica no.31, 1000 Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, and having company registration no. 6859127 (“We”, “our”) processes personal data in the context of implementing the Global Engineer Girls (GEG) initiative.
This Privacy Policy applies to the personal data of applicants for participation in the GEG initiative (the “Applicants”) and to participants in the GEG initiative that were awarded the benefits under the GEG initiative (the “Participants”, and jointly with the Applicants – “you”, “your”).
We respect your privacy and are committed to protect and process your personal data fairly and transparently, in accordance with data privacy rules, including the Law on Personal Data Protection in force in the Republic of North Macedonia (the “LPDP”).

1. Personal Data Controller
We collect, store and use the personal data you in the context of your application for participation in the GEG initiative, and, if selected, in the context of your agreement with us for your participation in the GEG initiative, to fulfill our rights and obligations under such agreement, as well as in order for the us fulfill the other purposes from item 3 below. We are the controller of your personal data in accordance with the LPDP. Without your data, we will not be able to meet the mentioned goals.

2. Information that we collect
We collect and process the following categories of personal data about you:
(a) for Applicants:
• your identity information (name and surname, date of birth, citizenship);
• your contact details (phone number, email, place of residence);
• your language knowledge (mother tongue, other language);
• your family information (parents’ employment status, family monthly income);
• your education information (name and location of the high school you are attending; or name and location of the university, faculty and department you are attending, as well as the current year of your studies)
• other similar information, in the event other similar personal data and documents are required to achieve the purposes set forth in Article 3 below.
(b) for Participants:
• information you provide in the application form for participation in the GEG initiative;
• your identity information (name and surname, address);
• your student index number at the university / faculty you are enrolled at;
• your identification card number;
• your unique identification citizen’s number;
• your payment account number and bank where such account is maintained;
• other similar information, in the event other similar personal data and documents are required to achieve the purposes set forth in Article 3 below.

3. Purposes of data processing and legal bases
(a) For Applicants:
We process the personal data of Applicants based on the consent given by the Applicant as stated in the application form of the GEG initiative. If the Applicant gives consent, its personal data will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable data protection rules, including the LPDP. The legal basis for the such data processing is Article 10 paragraph 1 line 1 of the LPDP. There will be no consequences if the Applicant refuses to give consent and the Applicant’s data will not be processed.
We may also process Applicants’ data in order to comply with our statutory obligations and relevant orders from competent public authorities. The legal basis for such data processing is Article 10 paragraph 1 line 3 of the LPDP.
(b) For Participants:
We process the personal data of Participants for the purpose for performing the rights and obligations under the agreement we have with the Participant for their participation in the GEG initiative. The legal basis for the such data processing is Article 10 paragraph 1 line 2 of the LPDP. If the Participant does not wish its personal data to be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the Participant cannot participate in the GEG initiative.
We may also process Participants’ data, especially the unique identification citizen’s number and payment account number, in order to comply with our statutory obligations (including to make payments to you or to tax authorities) and relevant orders from competent public authorities. The legal basis for such data processing is Article 10 paragraph 1 line 3 of the LPDP.
We may also process Participants’ data in order to protect our legitimate legal interests and rights. The legal basis for such data processing is Article 10 paragraph 1 line 6 of the LPDP.

4. Recipients / categories of recipients of your personal information
(a) For Applicants:
The Applicant’s data will be shared with authorized representatives from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Skopje Office and from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, as our strategic partners for implementing the Global Engineer Girls (GEG) initiative.
The Applicant’s data may also be shared with competent public authorities in accordance with law.
(b) For Participants:
The Participants’ data will be shared with our personnel involved in the implementation of the Participation Agreement.
The Participant’s data may also be shared with competent public authorities in accordance with law, as well as with our third-party service providers (including, legal professionals, tax advisors and accountants).

5. Transfer of your data information to other countries
We do not transfer your personal data outside North Macedonia.

6. Retention period
(a) For Applicants:
The Applicant’s data will be retained for the entire period during the applicant selection process.
If the application is unsuccessful, we will inform the Applicant of this and we will retain the Applicant’s data for one month as of such notification. At the end of this period, we will delete the Applicant’s data. It is possible in certain situations to continue to process the data even after the consent is withdrawn, if we have a justified legitimate purpose for processing or if we are required to do this by law.
If the application is successful, the Applicant’s personal data will become part of the personal data we have for Participants.
(b) For Participants:
The Participant’s data will be retained for the entire period of validity of the agreement we have with the Participant for their participation in the GEG initiative and for five years after such period ends. At the end of this period, we will delete the Participant’s data. It is possible in certain situations to continue to process this data even after this period, if this is necessary to protect our legitimate legal interests and rights or if we are required to do this by law.

7. Your rights
In relation to the collection, processing and storage of your personal data, you have the right to request from us access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, right to objection to the processing and/ or exercise of your right to data portability as well as the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing under the conditions provided in the LPDP. You also have the right to submit a request regarding your personal data protection rights to the Agency for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia (https://www.dzlp.mk).
Applicants have the right to withdraw the consent for the processing of their personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent means that we will cease to process the Applicant’s personal data for which it has previously given its consent to process. There will be no consequences from withdrawing the consent. However, it is possible in certain situations to continue to process his data even after the consent is withdrawn, if this is necessary to protect our legitimate legal interests and rights or if we are required to do this by law.
